The FE vibration analysis allows the prediction at the early design stage of potential issues with high vibration caused by a resonance frequency or high harmonic excitation. Simulea offers detailed calculations of natural frequencies and mode shapes starting from single components to complex assemblies. In addition to modal analysis, a forced vibration analysis can be conducted to predict the response of a structure to various types of excitations and loading. The Forced vibration analysis gives the ability to predict the sustained dynamic behaviour of structures, thus helping to verify whether or not the design will successfully overcome resonance, fatigue, and other harmful effects of forced vibrations.
